Gozd Martuljek, Slovenia

Monday 12th August

We decided that both our backs were behaving well enough for us to move on into Slovenia today.  We travelled via Zell am See and Bad Gastein to the Tauerntunnel through the Kreuzkogel mountain.  We did return home from Slovenia by this route 3 years ago, so it was fun to do it again.
Us in the queue waiting for the train.
John driving onto the train, with another Brit vehicle behind us.
 The passenger carriage.
 Driving off the train.
We'd reached Mallnitz on the other side of the mountain.
A pretty picnic spot in the village of Reisseck where we had our lunch.
Then via Spittal and Villach, we were almost at the Slovenian border - although we had to stop off at a service station to buy our Slovenian vignette (30€ for a month).
We settled in at Camp Spik at Gozd Martuljek, near Kranjska Gora - between mountains bordering Austria and Italy, ie top left hand corner of Slovenia.
An interesting signpost in the campsite:
A close-up of part of it!!!
 Mount Spik from the campsite.
 Sava River beside the campsite.
