Bohinjska Bistrica via Bled
Sunday 25th August
This morning we drove the short distance from Kranj to Bled to visit Natalie and David at the beautiful B&B they are staying at - their holiday to celebrate David's 50th on Friday.
From there, it's a 10 minute walk to the lakeside

where we enjoyed a freshly-caught-fish-from-the-lake lunch.

We left Natalie and David during the afternoon to drive to Kamp Danica Bohinj at Bohinjska Bistrica. An evening walk took us through the very pretty village to the Zois Manor, now a restaurant that we plan to sample one day, but it used to be the Admin Centre and residence for the ironworks managers.
The Zois clock tower on the other side of the road was built by Baron Ziga Zois to ensure that the workers at the ironworks arrived at work on time!
